Is my holiday going to run?

Although lockdown is now easing, the whole of the UK is still subject to restrictions to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The UK Government has now said it will allow hotels, B&Bs, pubs, cafes, and restuarants in England to reopen from the 4th of July, subject to each establishment being able to satisfy conditions and/or regulations to minimise the risk of infection to their customers and staff. The majority of our trips with a start date beyond the 14th of July are going ahead, although there may be some changes in line with government regulations and advice. If you are joining one of our trips from overseas, we recommend that you also monitor advice given by your own government and airline.

Will I be safe?

We will follow the advice of the UK Government and will not operate any holidays if it is deemed unsafe to do that. We will only use accommodations that are able to comply with the government guidelines on social distancing and sanitation. During bag transfer operations, bags will be wiped down with sanitiser and our couriers will wear protective clothing. Can I cancel my holiday?

You can cancel your holiday without penalty only if the UK Government restricts travel to the region where your holiday takes place at the time of your departure. The Government have indicated that they will review their policy on a rolling basis, looking ahead 28 days at each review point. While this remains the policy we will make final decisions on whether to operate trips approximately 2 - 4 weeks prior to departure. If we have to cancel your holiday you will have the option to postpone or receive a full refund. If you decide to cancel your trip due to disinclination to travel, we will incur costs and for this reason, if you cancel, our standard terms and conditions will apply. Can I postpone the holiday?

Because of the exceptional circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, we will allow postponement of your holiday for any trip departing up to 31st July this year. For our overseas clients who may face difficulties with international travel, we will take this into consideration if you request a postponement for a trip departing after 31st July. You can postpone your holiday to any date in 2021 (dependening on availability of accommodation for the alternative dates you propose). We will charge a fixed admin fee of £25 per person to cover our costs in moving your booking, and the price of your new holiday will be as advertised on our website for 2021, unless we confirm otherwise at the time of postponement. If you opt to postpone the holiday, your deposit and any payments you have made will be credited to the new dates. Please contact us as early as possible prior to your departure if you wish to take advantage of this.
